At Bauer Construction, building homes isn’t just a job, it’s a craft that runs deep. As a third-generation contractor with over 15 years in the construction industry, I’ve spent the last 7 years focused on building and remodeling homes, developing a strong passion for quality craftsmanship and thoughtful design.
I especially enjoy projects that challenge precision, homes with high-end finishes, detailed craftsmanship, and unique design elements that require careful attention and skill to execute properly.
My approach is simple: do things the right way, communicate clearly, and never cut corners. Honesty and transparency are at the core of every project. Clients deserve to know what’s happening with their home at every stage of the process.

What types of custom home projects do you take on?
We focus on new custom home builds in Spokane, CDA, and Liberty Lake, including craftsman, modern, farmhouse, and luxury-style homes.
How long does a custom home build take?
Most homes take about a year from the day drawings begin to the final walkthrough. Typical builds range from 10 to 18 months depending on the size, design, and overall complexity of the project. The actual construction of the home is typically no more than 9 months.
Do you build homes on acreage with no utlities on it?
Absolutley! We have developed raw land numerous times before. Not only do we design and build your home we also handle all of the site development. We have a great team experienced in drilling wells for water, septic design and install, and road improvements to handle anything you need.
What area do you serve?
We are based in Spokane, WA, and serve the surrounding region. We are around a 75 mile radius but depending on the project size and scope we have gone further.

Yes, we provide free quotes and initial consultations so you can understand costs and timelines before moving forward.
How do I start the process

Do you manage subcontractors and inspections?
Yes — as your general contractor, we coordinate all trades, scheduling, city inspections, and on-site quality control. You don’t have to manage any of it.
Will I need permits for my project?
Yes. Most new builds require permits. We handle the paperwork, inspections, and coordination with local authorities so you don’t have to worry about it.
Are you licensed, insured, and do you guarantee your work?
Absolutely. All of our builds are backed by a workmanship guarantee, and we only use licensed and insured trades to ensure long-term quality.
